Is there a free WooCommerce pre-order plugin?
Yes. PreOrder Pilot is free on WordPress.org with no product, order or time limit. It enables pre-orders on simple products, shows an optional availability date, collects full payment through your normal gateways and uses a dedicated Pre-ordered order status. Variable products, deposits and pay-later need the paid Growth add-on.
How do I take pre-orders in WooCommerce?
Install a pre-order plugin, because WooCommerce itself only offers backorders. With PreOrder Pilot, enable pre-orders on a simple product, add an optional availability date and save.
